Chipper Funerals and Simplicity Funerals will now offer freeone-litre bottles of sunscreen to Mandurah sporting clubs and community groups throughoutthe year.
“As funeral directors, we’ve seen firsthand the impact onfamilies who have lost a loved one to skin cancer, which is why we would liketo remind people in the local area to limit their time in the sun and toprotect themselves with SPF 30+ when they are outside,” Chipper FuneralsMandurah location supervisor Narelle Litchfield said.
“In the warmer months, the UV radiation can be just asstrong even when the sky is overcast.”
Simplity Funerals Mandurah regional manager for WA SusanService said the national initiative was about connecting with the community ina way that would benefit people.
